About This Program

Our approach ensures every child gains confidence in reading and writing through structured and engaging activities that begin with correct pencil technique and phonetic awareness.
Learning & Development

Building Literacy from the Ground Up

The early stages are where children develop foundations for core, necessary skills required for later life. The need to establish the essential phonetics means children are taught to write before reading. This is done through firstly teaching the child correct pencil holding, a technique which is also explored through the development of fine motor skills achieved through other activities.

Children are taught phonetics through reiteration of the alphabets and sounds of letters. Story time also encourages children to partake in reading exercises. A broad range of picture books are constantly available for reference.
