Cultural Awareness

Children in the nursery come from a diversity of backgrounds and so introducing cultural awareness could not be more integrative. Globes are used to identify the scope of countries and continents. Dressing up time, clothes and cultural dresses are used to expand knowledge on how people from different cultures live.

Children are also enlightened about the different foods, climates and languages around the globe. Parents also provide a positive cultural contribution with pictures of their own experiences, providing cultural exchange during religious and cultural festivals.
